How do I get an OpenAI API key?

Visit platform.openai.com/api-keys, create an account if needed, and generate a new API key. Paste it in the extension settings under the AI tab.

Is my data safe?

Yes! All your profile data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. We never send personal information to our servers. When you use AI features, your data goes directly to OpenAI's API — never through us.

The extension isn't detecting fields on a job site

Some job sites use custom form implementations. Try refreshing the page. If it still doesn't work, please report the issue with the job site URL and we'll add support for it.

How much does the AI feature cost?

The free plan includes 3 AI cover letters and 10 AI field fills per month at no cost. Pro ($4.99/mo) gives you unlimited AI. You can also bring your own API key for unlimited AI on the free plan — typical cost is less than $0.01 per application.

Can I use it without AI?

Absolutely! Basic autofill (name, email, phone, work history, etc.) works without any AI. Just fill in your profile and click "Fill All Fields".

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Open the extension popup, go to Settings, and click "Manage Subscription". You can cancel anytime with one click. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
